Practical Tools & Development

Practical tools & development

Build from the work. Show what is ready.

New technology is useful when its role is clear. Here are the tools you can access today and the questions guiding our ongoing development.

Annual fee estimator

Calculate an annual estimate from the information you enter. The tool separates base advisory and filing fees, bookkeeping, year-end payroll tax adjustment and standard visits. Record format affects the bookkeeping component.

The estimate helps you plan the cost. We confirm specialist work, the formal scope and fees with you.

Akina on AVITA

Open AVITA’s conversation screen from the website, alongside the option to contact the office directly.

When you contact the office, bring the questions you want to discuss. AVITA conversations are not automatically sent to an accountant.

Research & experiments

Accounting tools shaped by practice.

In development

Kouzou Hanada is exploring an AI accounting OS that practitioners could adapt, improve and eventually share. The starting point is the work as it arrives: records in different formats, uneven submission schedules and questions that cannot be resolved by reading one document alone.

The research asks how a tool could follow the connection between an invoice, a later payment and surrounding records; distinguish a missing document from an unconfirmed fact; and retain the reasons for a provisional conclusion.

This work is at the research and development stage. It is not yet a generally available accounting product.

The next tests

Keep the basis for decisions visible.

The objective is to build tools that practitioners can question and improve. Further work focuses on three practical questions:

What is retained?

Can the records, assumptions and unresolved questions be followed through the work?

When is review needed?

Is it clear when a person must check the facts or make a professional judgment?

Can work be handed over?

Can another person understand what has been done and what remains uncertain?

Individual tax judgments, professional advice and filings remain the work of a tax accountant. Development results should make clear what was tested, under which conditions and with what remaining limits.
